Fresh Pico De Gallo

This fresh Pico de Gallo is one of my favorite quick recipes—bright, zesty, and full of flavor. Ripe tomatoes, crisp onions, fresh cilantro, and a little lime squeeze make this the perfect salsa that comes together in 10 minutes. We LOVE putting this salsa on tacos, nachos, chips, eggs, and just about anything else.

Servings 5 cups depending on how chunky you want the veggies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 bunch cilantro chopped
  • 1-2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1-2 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 6-8 tomatoes diced (I use a variety from the garden at times)
  • salt & pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Chop the cilantro and combine it in a large bowl with the garlic and lime juice. Mix well and let sit.
  • Chop the onion and tomatoes. Then combine with cilantro mixture and stir well. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to one week.
